Hello and Welcome. My name is Naomi Heller and I am the director of Intercare Therapy. Since 1979, I have been working with children and their families to help them reach their maximum potential. Being trained as a Speech Pathologist, I have always tried to make a positive difference in childrens’ lives. This philosophy has guided our clinic since we first started.

Intercare Therapy is an agency where children with special needs can receive an array of services to meet their developmental challenges. Not all our clients use all the services we offer but our clinical team works with the child and the family to provide services that fit their needs.

Our staff seeks to create a comfortable and productive environment for our clients, providing extensive care for the children. Our services include: Floor Time Therapy, Behavior Intervention, Social Skills Group, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy.

Naomi is a graduate of Tel Aviv University School of Communication Disorders, Faculty of Medicine, and holds a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from Cal State University Northridge.

She has worked in research, designing a hearing conservation program for the Israel Defense forces. She headed pediatric and geriatric programs for local hospitals in Tel Aviv and Los Angeles. She directed rehabilitation programs in several hospitals in the Los Angeles area and developed pediatric outpatient rehabilitation centers for General Medical Centers and Family Health Plans.

For the last 25 years, she has worked extensively with children on the Autism Spectrum Disorder designing interdisciplinary programs for them that included Behavior Intervention, Floor Time Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Skills Group and Speech Therapy.

Intercare Therapy is a Non-Public Agency (NPA) and is contracted with local School Districts and Regional Centers. Her staff is providing therapy throughout Los Angeles County.

The clinical staff at Intercare Therapy includes the Director of Clinical Programs and Training, the Floortime Trainer and Consultant, Clinical Supervisors, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Floor Time, Social Skills, and Behavior Intervention Therapists.
